Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the hosted service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, use the public repository under its open-source license or stop using the hosted service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Prompt Studio for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization.

Public beta service

Prompt Studio is an actively developed public beta. Features, providers, models, limits, and availability may change. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or circumstances outside the project owner's control. No uptime or support service level is promised.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details and provider keys secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Do not share an account in a way that defeats security or user-isolation controls.

Bring your own provider

Hosted AI, vision, and transcription requests use the provider account or free tier you connect. You are responsible for that provider's charges, quotas, terms, content rules, privacy practices, and key security. Prompt Studio does not guarantee that a provider or free model will remain available, free, or unchanged.

Your content

You retain your rights in the ideas, source text, transcripts, and prompts you submit or save. You give the hosted service the limited permission needed to process that content, send requested material to your selected provider, and store the text you ask it to save.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content and that your use of generated output does not violate law, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property rights, or a provider's terms. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable; review it before relying on it.

Acceptable use

You may not use the hosted service to:

• break the law or facilitate harm, fraud, or abuse;
• submit content you are not entitled to process;
• probe, bypass, overload, or interfere with authentication, isolation, rate limits, or service security;
• introduce malware, scrape private data, or access another user's workspace or credentials; or
• misrepresent generated content as verified professional advice.

Open-source software

The Prompt Studio source code is available under the MIT License. That license governs copies you download, modify, or self-host. These Terms govern only your use of this hosted public-beta service and do not restrict rights granted by the MIT License.

Suspension and account deletion

You may export data and delete your account from Settings. Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal compliance, including for serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

No professional advice

Prompt Studio helps draft prompts. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, security, or other professional advice. Generated material requires appropriate human review.

Warranty and liability

The hosted beta and open-source software are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that output will be accurate, unique, fit for a particular purpose, or continuously available.

To the extent permitted by law, the project owner is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost provider credits, provider actions, or decisions made from generated output. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Material changes will be published here with a revised effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, it will apply prospectively.

Use the Prompt Studio GitHub repository to request a private contact channel. Never include provider keys, account secrets, private prompts, or personal information in a public issue.
